Arabic Makeup - Perfect Brides Makeup

Bridal makeup varies greatly in different cultures, but it always has the central theme of making the bride look outstanding on her wedding day. Being very, very general, there are two basic makeup types-the heavy makeup looks of Arabic makeup and Indian cultures, utilizing strong lines and color; and the more neutral looks of 'western' bridal makeup, usually in soft browns and grays.

For both these types of Makeup  styles for Bride looks, the key to success is to have a great base to work with: foundation is paramount for bridal looks. While sponge and brush applications were the best we could hope for a couple of years back, nowadays Arabic bridal makeup is being revolutionized by airbrushing.

Airbrushing foundation on gives the smoother, most flawless application possible for foundation, with the added benefits of the long lasting, smudge-proof foundation formulas. Indian bridal looks have very heavy contouring on the face-this is done seamlessly with an airbrush. Even lighter contouring is achieved perfectly with airbrushing-it really is an indispensable tool for great Make up styles for Brides.

While Indian and Arab brides often incorporate color into their bridal makeup, it is less common on 'western' brides, but don't fear taking a dip into a color palette. Soft pinks, browns and purples work really well with the white dress of a western bride. If you choose to add a color to the eye, then keep the lips simple and spend time to get the exact color match for eyes and lips-you don't want to be mixing color schemes.

Arabic Bridal Makeup

False lashes are an essential part of the dramatic makeup of most Arab and sub continental brides, but is the drama is a little too much for you, try a half set of lashes, or even a couple of individual lashes on the outer corner of the eyes-they really do open up the eye and give a doe-like look to the eyes.

Good arab Makeup for Bride looks should accentuate the bride's natural features, and one way of doing this is to highlight the lips using a pressed pearl eye shadow. Don't freak out, its not white lips we're talking about-just a subtle placing of reflective pearl powder in the center of the lips that catches the light and makes lips look super pouty.

Eyes are the most variable areas for brides makeup. For sub continental and Arab brides, eyes tend to be colorful, dramatic and very heavily lined. Western style brides, and to a certain extent many East Asian brides follow a more muted color scheme (grays, taupes, light pinks and browns) with less liner and usually less dramatic application. Whichever brides makeup you are going for, there are three areas of the eye that must have highlights on them: the inner corner, the middle upper lid and under the eyebrow arch. These three places catch the light and give the illusion of bigger, brighter eye-and importantly they give light and dimension to the eyes in photography. A pearly white or cream color is good for Arabic Eye Makeup.
